It seemed as if what in his bands had been a real, animated insect, the live child of heat and moisture, was disenchanted in ours, and returned to a clumsy composition of iron, wool, fur, and feathers. It would be interesting to see what you poets would do to make it poetry. Example: "darkness visible" "green thought" Syntax: Word order and sentence structure. Seventeen sonnet-cycles comprising 1,121 selections.

June 3, 2011: "Granada" by Joanne Diaz "To be so far from oxtail stew, sardines..." April 20, 2015: "Bucolic (After Heavy Rain)" by Richard Foerster "Ah, this lush life..." Back in Paris in 1882, he returned to absinthe, forsaken by his wife, who finally divorced him. I walk the lonely path in dreamy steps, And want to see again, for the last time, Barely pierces the woods' dark at my feet! I will not dwell on that subject, lest I be thought fantastic in harping on a tune so obsolete. As to her tears, since I had not caused them, they only aroused my indignation. Observing this gesture I sat down in the nearest chair.

Frequently the ending follows the motif of the threefold death. It was then past eleven, not much, because we had not been in that restaurant quite an hour, but the routine of the town's night-life being upset during the Carnival the usual row of fiacres outside the Maison Dor e was not there; in fact, there were very few carriages about. What is best in a state of brimful, equable suffering is that it does away with the gnawings of petty sensations.

Open mic format (mainly poems, but also short stories, anecdotes, jokes, acoustic music). If the plantations are to be on an extensive scale, it will be found of great advantage to have the labour of these men entirely devoted to the woods, since they afford various kinds of employment for every month of the year, especially where a great plan is in the progress of being executed, as reason dictates, by certain proportions every year. I will suppose, what is not easily understood, that in some unintelligible manner England is to gain with addition what Scotland is condemned to lose. (The process, by the way, seems to resemble that recommended by Moli re's quack, who prescribes the putting out of one eye, that the other may see further, and more acutely.) I will suppose that our statesmen, by enforcing this measure, condemn to emigration, or transportation---the punishment she inflicts on felons---the inhabitants of distant and desert tracts, on the mainland and in the Hebrides, to save her from some expense, and because she thinks a country so different from her own fertile valleys, cannot be fit for human habitation.

The exchange of placement between short and long syllables in Ionic rhythms is called anaclasis. Next, I am going to read “For Sale.” I notice that there are characters in this poem—the main character (who I do not know much about) and his or her little sister. There are, however, extensive Highland wastes, which of all other ground, we would most desire to see planted, where the improver must expect no such return. I disregarded the symptom. ``Madame,'' I said, ``I have never tried to find out what sort of being I am.'' ``Ah, that's very wrong.
